Dr. Francesco Buia is originally from Lecce, Italy. He obtained his medical degree at Alma Mater Studiorum-
Bologna University and his residency was at IRCCS, Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria di Bologna, Italy. Dr.
Buia has fifteen years’ experience in interventional radiology, with special interest in endovascular
treatment of aortic diseases and in extravascular interventional procedures of the chest. He is a member of
the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology. Has authored in radiology and surgery journals
and presented at the annual meeting of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology. Dr.
Buia resides in Bologna, with his wife, and enjoys life with his son.
